Before we close the annual gathering, we come together to draw one tarot card from the Mother Peace tarot deck. This single card is the overarching theme that inspires us as we learn and grow throughout the year. This year, as we were passing the deck for a good shuffle by all present one special card jumped from the deck that was being held by Danu. This card was The Magician and we interpreted the message “Be the Magick” as the theme of our coming spiritual year in this beautiful and sacred sisterhood.

We then used the Motherpeace Tarot deck to do a reading. The layout used for this year’s reading is based upon the Pentacle Tarot Spread created by Shekhinah Mountainwater. The addition of our first card drawn is a supplementary card that offers an encompassing theme of insight representing the 'circle' of the pentacle . The other 5 cards that were drawn are situated at the points of the pentacle.

We will be exploring in an order that reflects counting down in celebration of the new spiritual year. We commence with our overarching theme, moving to the point of emotion, to the point of body, energy, and mind and culminating with the soul point. We invite you to share our journey.

Bi-monthly, beginning in November an exploration will be posted from a link on this page. For those within Sisters in Celebration, you may join in via discussion, exchanging ideas and experiences, creating and sharing personal exercises, journaling, etc... You are also invited to share this journey with the deck of your choice .
