Dancing Goddesses by Shakina

Kiamishi
Hearth Priestess

My spirit name is Kiamishi. This was my husband’s great grandmother’s name. She was a Choctaw Indian from Oklahoma. When I heard her name, she spoke to me and I wanted to honor her by taking her name in spirit. I have also taken my grandmothers last name legally (my mundane name) to honor her. I have always been drawn to my elders because I feel strongly that they have a lot to teach each of use if only we will listen.

My personal journey has always been about healing and helping those in need. I have been a registered nurse for 25 years. I obtained my doctorate in nursing in 1998. Over time, western medicine no longer fit into my shifting paradigm. My journey over the past couple of years has led me to explore more alternative therapies such as holistic medicine, herbalism and Reiki.

I am an Ordained Minister and Priestess. My ministry is multi-denominational, accepting all spiritual paths and beliefs. I have my own business as a Reiki practitioner and instructor as well as the purveyor or handmade soaps. For more information about my work please visit my website at www.eoswellbeing.com . This was what manifested through my level one final project.

Kiamishi / Amy
