Sisterhood community discussion list located on Yahoo Groups, in addition to being a part of the heart and soul of our community, this list
is also a forum for discussion of all aspects of our lives.You are encouraged to help us build a joyful sisterhood in Sisters in Celebration and help us build a strong community of women learning and growing together.
The Sisters in Celebration community is very mindful of "safe and sacred space". While our sisters are loved and supported, it is the responsibility of each sister to be mindful of what intentions, feelings and tone she brings to the group. You will also be encouraged to share part or all of their lessons in the online school group, but are never obligated to do so.
If you choose to share your lesson in the school group, other instructors and students will likely give you further responses to your lesson and in turn offering you experience and insight. This posting of lessons is voluntary and always greatly valued when a student shares of herself in this manner. It is by witnessing, honoring and sharing our journeys that we deepen our spiritual sisterhood bonds and learn and grow together. The Sacred Hearth
Within the Sacred Hearth, each woman has an opportunity to co-create a community.
We believe that a woman is able to be of service to Goddess, herself, her sisters of spirit, and the community as a whole at Sisters in Celebration, no matter where she is in her White Moon course work. We feel that within the community there are many occasions for non-course and course-based growth, and the Sacred Hearth is open to all sisters within Sisters in Celebration.
The Sacred Hearth is a glorious extension of our hearth tending program, where our sisters are offered a means of fluid positive communication and empowering connections with other women in a safe and sacred setting. Sisters may join and create groups and discussions on their own. They may "live chat" with other sisters and enjoy creating their own online journals for continued feedback and opportunities for growth. A brief sampling of discussions happening right now are: Magick, Devotions, Prayer, Healing Modalities, Ritual & Rites of Passage, Book Discussions, The Moon, Animal Spirits, Raising Children in a Goddess Tradition, Dreams, Sex & Sensuality ,Tarot, Music... and so much more!

Sisterhood Chats
Sisters in our branch school meet in real time utilizing the Yahoo Instant Messenger and our Sacred Hearth chat space. Group announcements are made to let all sisters know the date, time and place of the chat. We have explored many areas of our spirituality via this mode of communication including online-participatory ritual and meditations, discussions of circle casting and much more! We hope to chat with you there!
Distance Rituals
At Sisters in Celebration we offer participation in distance rituals within our community and also the OWM community. These rituals are performed during the phase of the Full and /or New Moon. There are also many other rituals that you may join in! A date/time is announced usually before a Full Moon or a New Moon. The time is significant to only your time zone.This means whenever it is 8:00 p.m. in your time zone it is time to begin our distance ritual. This created a rolling effect across the United States of our combined energies. We believe that time is irrelevant in the ether. You may join us in ritual when you can, intent is the most important thing. Don't worry about having all of the accessories. If you can just sit and meditate with us for a bit or even reach out to your sisters in the ether, then consider it done. Just adding your energies will make the ritual stronger.
Our Sisters in Celebration Annual Gathering
A gathering for the students of Sisters in Celebration is held each fall, usually in October or November. The Sisters in Celebration gathering holds workshops and ritual and offers amazing opportunities for socialization with sisters.
The atmosphere of the gathering is a safe and spiritual place that is drug and alcohol free. Invitations and updated postings are made to the online group and cost of registering is based upon attendance and space rental. We do try to keep the cost to a minimum.
Sisters of SIC that attend any Sisters in Celebration gathering will be honored with a special pink cord as a token of sisterhood.
Sisters in Celebration Grove
This sacred online space, created on Face Book serves as a place where members of SIsters in Celebration their friends, and those enrolled in our short courses can gather and celebrate one another. This is a phenomenal place to get to know Sisters in Celebration, ask questions and discuss various topics.
