Affirmations

An affirmation is positive self talk, it is connecting to Goddess within and communicating with Her.
Here are a few examples:

"I am an aspect of the Divine."

"I am strong, courageous and wise in my daily life"

Inner Beauty Affirmation
I am birthed from Goddess,
Beautiful and Divine.
Let the beauty of my soul
Radiate and Shine. ~Nessa

Sacred Play

Sacred Play occurs during those times when intense joy finds expression in a worship-like activity before Divinity. It is the restoration of the healing power of joy expressed in the beauty of worship.

"I think my absolute favourite way to commune with our Mother is to work in my gardens. Sitting on the Earth, feeling it move between my fingers, caressing me as I caress Her, feeling the life around me and the potential for life that sits in my hands as I plant each seed, each bulb. It's a healing journey, almost like a walk with Her, just She and I, sharing silent secrets that the world wonders at. Every time I receive a compliment on my gardens, I simply smile and know that it is She who honours me with such bounty, such beauty. It's not the compost I use, or a secret "green thumb"; it's our Mother and Her other children ... the crystals that I plant in every garden, placing into the soil with a prayer and a blessing, each one carefully chosen to help the plant it's buried next to. I cherish every single second that I work in my gardens! And dream of them throughout the winters, longing to feel that rich soil once again." ~Moonwater

Thoughts on Devotions...

"I see my devotionals as an integration of the miraculous and the mundane. One moment is all it takes to connect and gift me with peace, love, joy, focus, or whatever I have designed it to be for myself." ~Nessa CrescentMoon

" I think most of us have several ways that we commune with Goddess everyday, and quite often they're ways that we don't even think about as being "communing". Whether it's saying a few affirmations into the mirror as we shower or dress, or a quick "thank you" before we eat our meals, taking a Nature walk and just basking in the beauty of the Goddess all around us, or more "traditional" ways like praying at our altars, doing daily rituals, and meditating." ~Moonwater
