When I first started my journey with the Goddess, the journey that led me here to the Order of the White Moon, I wasn't sure what to expect.  I had spent years trying to finding a belief system that I could embrace, yet only found questions behind every door I openned.  None of the conventional belief systems encompassed all of my own personal beliefs.  I was starting to think I was alone.  I knew in my heart and soul that I was searching for the Divine Feminine, for balance.  But where was it in the world?

Finally, while studying for my Bachelor's Degree, I was introduced to Neo-Paganism and Wicca.  Finally I found the Goddess that I had always felt in the core of my being.  The only way that I can describe it is it was like coming home!  As soon as I started learning more about the various Earth-based religions, my heart jumped for joy.  My quest for faith was over.  Now my journey was really about to begin.  After being given the opprotunity to learn as a member of a Gardnerian coven, I decided to practice as a solitary witch instead. I've been blessed by opprotunities to learn from and with a variety of fantastic women, from a wide range of traditions (Dianic, Alexandrian, Asatru, Druid, Celtic, Eclectic, Hoodoo,
Strega); some were professors, some were friends, some were teachers at workshops.

Now my journey has transformed my faith into a more Eclectic form of Wicca, combining aspects of Celtic, Egyptian, Greco-Roman, and Native American traditions. While I do work with the Horned God on occasion, I tend to remain Goddess-centred and am currently dedicated to the Goddess Isis.  My lessons here with this lovely group of ladies is refining my faith into a well-rounded practice that has helped me to find a new stability and serenity in my life ... the very things that I had begun searching for over 20 years ago.  The sisterhood that I have found here is truly one that I shall always treasure.  These fantastically gifted ladies have become not only my sisters, but my friends, teachers, mentors, and confidants.  May you find that same joy on your journey with the blessings of the Goddess!
