Sisters in Celebration
is a branch sisterhood of the Order of the White Moon directed by three
of the Orders High Priestesses by Nessa and Artemisia and Serenity.
All are multi-denominational ordained ministers and are passionate about
bringing the sacred to the present moment, by empowering women to live
strong, powerful lives, through honoring and celebrating life cycles,
celebrating and exploring love, pleasure and sexuality, and integrating
spirit, awareness and wellness into everyday life.They believe that
the Divine Feminine connects women from assorted spiritual backgrounds
and that through sisterhood we become stronger and wiser. This Sisterhood
of the Feminine Divine encourages women to discover and create their
own spiritual paths. This branch school is open to women of all love
and sexual orientations aged 18 or older. |
Branch School Information
Sisters
In Celebration is one of several online schools that offer traditional
White Moon Teachings created by Luna Blanca, a thirteen month course in
personal empowerment and priestess training. The curriculum is eclectic
and Goddess-centered, built upon the foundation of the Women's Spirituality
Movement as it has evolved over the last 35 years. Graduates of this course
are eligible to enroll in a public ministry course and to receive ordination
through The Order of The White Moon.
The purpose
of Sisters In Celebration is twofold: to help restore spiritual balance
on earth by restoring the Divine Feminine to her rightfulplace; and to
assist seekers in their personal and spiritual development. It is the
position of this school that all spiritual paths and belief systems can
benefit by incorporating the Divine Feminine.
Sisters In
Celebration abides by the Rede, Do as you will, but harm none, except
in self-defense, and the Law of Three, whatever you send out comes back

Sisters in
Celebration is open to Women, 18 years of age or older, who are open to
incorporating the Feminine Divine into their lives and who are willing
to undergo a pledge that they will not use these teachings to harm others.
Students must also be open-minded and flexible in their beliefs, willing
to learn from others of different paths without attempting to convert
other students to a specific path.

A
bit more about Sisters In Celebration...
The Order of the
White Moon is made up of women from many different spiritual paths, and
each of the sister branches (such as Sisters in Celebration) honor OWM's
tradition of accepting women from all walks of life. We do not consider
ourselves or this group a coven because we do not all practice the same
faith, religion or spirituality. We prefer to embrace a larger concept
of community of sisterhood that encompasses all spiritual paths and beliefs.
What we all do
have in common, the thread that binds us together, is our belief in, our
love for, and our devotion to the Feminine aspect of the Divine that exists
not only within each of us, but is greater than the sum of all of us together.
We come together
in love,compassion, joy, pleasure in her name, and in the name of all
that is sacred in the feminine. While our school guides each woman through
the phases of Priestesshood, and this school work includes introduction
to many paths such as prayer, healing, energy work, and magick - the ultimate
purpose of our school is to support each woman on her path to healing
and wholeness, to show her that she does indeed have the Goddess within,
and to help her remember that she is already a Priestess to the Feminine
Divine.

Order
of the White Moon chat group
In
addition to joining the Sisters in Celebration yahoo discussion
group, all registered students are welcome to join the Order of
the White Moon chat group. Invitaion to this group will be given
upon completed registration.
Please
know that the OWM chat group is optional.
Chat groups offer a wonderful opportunity to get
to know one another better and share thoughts and experiences and
information. The OWM chat group is a sacred woman space. The OWM
chat consists of sisters of all levels of learning from all of the
branch schools. Again, joining this OWM chat group is completely
voluntary and it would be wonderful to see you there weaving our
common threads of sisterhood and sharing thoughts, experiences and
information.

This is our sisterhood community discussion list.
In addition to being the heart and soul of our community, this list
is also a forum for discussion of all aspects of the White Moon
lessons.
You
are encouraged to help us build a joyful sisterhood in Sisters in
Celebration and help us build a strong community of women learning
and growing together. You will
also be encouraged to share part
or all of their
lessons in the online school group,
but are never obligated to do so.
If you choose to share your lesson in the school group, other instructors
and students will likely give you further responses to your lesson
and in turn offering you experience and insight. This posting of
lessons is voluntary and always greatly valued when a student shares
of herself in this manner. It is by witnessing, honoring and sharing
our journeys that we deepen our spiritual sisterhood bonds and learn
and grow together. You are also welcome and encourged to offer your
personal insights and wisdom to other sisters who post thier lessons
to this list.
