Sisters in Celebration

Sisters in Celebration is open to Women of all love and sexual orientation, 18 years of age or older, who are open to incorporating the Feminine Divine into their lives. Students must also be open-minded and flexible in their beliefs, willing to learn from others of different paths without attempting to convert other students to a specific path. We place a high value on celebrating each other and choosing optimistic perspectives. As a sisterhood we encourage women to discover and create their own spiritual paths. We encourage the joyful celebration of self and others. Sisters in Celebration is not affiliated with any specific traditions or organizations.

It is by witnessing, honoring and sharing of our journeys that we deepen our spiritual sisterhood bonds and learn and grow together. In Sisters in Celebration, in our diversity we also have our commonality, and that is to honor the Feminine Divine and to learn and grow from one another. We celebrate ourselves and our sisters. How we each approach the sacred space we have created online with the group is highly individual. The Sisters in Celebration community is very mindful of "safe and sacred space". While our sisters are loved and supported, it is the responsibility of each sister to be mindful of what intentions, feelings and tone she brings to our Sacred Hearth.

The Sacred Hearth is a manifestation of the Hearth Tending at Sisters in Celebration, where our sisters are offered a means of fluid positive communication and empowering connections with other women in a safe and sacred setting. Within the Sacred Hearth, each woman has an opportunity to co-create our community. We believe that a woman is able to be of service to Goddess, herself, her sisters of spirit, and the community as a whole at Sisters in Celebration. We feel that within the community there are many occasions for growth.

Many sisters are assisted in their spiritual growth from experiencing the open connection within a group of women. What one may perceive as mundane chat could very well be one woman reaching out and using her voice as she grows. It is safe to say that the spiritual paths never quite match up from sister to sister, and that is a positive thing. We all travel the same journey and are at different phases and points along the way. That is what we celebrate here at Sisters in Celebration - witnessing each woman opening and sharing her own life and spiritual experience. This is learning about yet another aspect of Goddess...a different aspect in each sister. At SIC we feel that these connections are important in our spiritual growth - that the mundane is intermingled with the magickal.

At its heart, Sisters in Celebration is an experiential learning community directed by our Directors: High Priestesses Nessa, Artemisia, Serenity, and Danu. They each believe that the Divine Feminine connects women from assorted spiritual backgrounds and that through sisterhood we become strong and wise. All are Multi-Denominational ordained ministers and are passionate about bringing the sacred to the present moment, by empowering women to live strong, powerful lives, through honoring and celebrating life cycles, celebrating and exploring love, pleasure and sexuality, and integrating spirit, awareness and wellness into everyday life.
