FAQ's about what courses are offered, what's included, how does it work and tuition.

1. What does the curriculum consist of?
The curriculum is experiential, practice-based rather than knowledge-based. Developing a
consistent daily, weekly, and monthly spiritual practice is the cornerstone of the teachings.
We learn by doing, by internalizing skills and knowledge and shaping them into an individual
practice compatible with our individual beliefs.

Our Priestess Path offers you the tools to become consciously aware of your inherent abilities, innate spiritual path and connection to the Feminine Divine. This is not a ministry course; it is designed solely for the exploration of Goddess, Self & Community.

During the Moons cycle (28.5 days) you will experience:
Immersion - studying your resources.
Application -offering your thoughts and insights.
Exercises - creating your own rituals, etc.
Integration- expressing how you use this in your solitary practice.

After completion of the Priestess Path Journey, graduates are invited to participate in our B'Tween Time course to discover their unique Priestess path and purpose. This course is required before entry into our High Priestess Path course of study.

2. What is the definition of "Priestess"; what would constitute a vocation to be
a Priestess or a High Priestess?

Even though there is a commonly accepted definition of a Priestess being a woman who
presides over religious rites; it is our thought that this definition is personal. We are each so
unique, so diverse that each student is empowered from within to define Priestess for
herself to discover her stylized vocation as a Priestess of Goddess.

3. What if I have absolutely no experience in this type of spiritual work?
Then you are welcome here! We would suggest the Priestess Path to newcomer's.
You will be given the basics in and allowed to progress at a comfortable speed.

4. What if I already am quite experienced in this type of spiritual work?
We heartily reccomend the Priestess Path for the experienced practitioner. You will be able to take what you already know and build on that. There is great benefit to beginning at the beginning or exploring what you know on a deeper level! The lessons are designed to be flexible to the student's level of experience. As long as you are willing to try new ways of doing things and to consistently apply what you know in your daily spiritual practice, you will find the school has much to offer you.

5. Is there any way to "test out" of certain material?
No, there isn't. Because the material is practice-based rather than knowledge-based, you must
be willing to experience all of the lessons.

6. Is there a required time-frame for completing this course?
The timeframe for the Priestess Path is 13 months. Students work through each moon's topic and share to participate in the sisterhood community as we go on the Priestess Path Journey together. If a student decides to put her lessons on hold
for a period of time, she is still welcome to participate in the Sisters in Celebration outer
community in all ways she is able.

7. What expectations are there for completing the Priestess Path successfully?
The student determines success; ones dedication shows when lessons are thorough, timely
and chock full of hearty, nurturing explorations.

8. Once finished with course work , does one still stay a member of the Sisters
in Celebration community?

Once enrolled in the Priestess Path course a woman is an integral part of the Sisters in
Celebration community, and she takes her leave at the time of her own choosing.

9. Are further studies offered?
After completion of the Priestess Path Journey, graduates are invited to participate in our B'Tween Time course to discover their unique Priestess path and purpose. This course is required before entry into our High Priestess Path course of study.

10.Is Ordination offered?
Yes.
We offer a 3 week B'Tween Time course for Priestesses who have completed our Priestess
Path program. The B'Tween Time course, along with demonstrated commitment to self, spiritual practice and Being of Service is a prerequisite for our 10 week High Priestess Path course of study. Based
on her area of interest, a High Priestess may choose to become a legally ordained minister
through Sisters in Celebration at the completion of her High Priestess Path.
Our Sisters in Celebration ordained ministers may legally solemnize marriages as part of their
personal public ministry. We provide a “Letter of Good Standing in a Spiritual Community”
along with the ordination if required by your county and state. At this time, ordination is only
legal in the United States.

All About Sisters in Celebration: I have questions about communication,
community, and who responds to my lessons.

17. What about privacy?
Many students are concerned about protecting their public identities. We are committed to
helping students keep their public identities private. While students must give a valid mailing
address when they enroll, only the teaching staff has access to this information. Students
concerned with privacy are encouraged to use their "spiritual names" or nicknames in the
school and to create a new email address for school purposes. We can offer other suggestions
for protecting privacy as well -- just ask.

18. How do I communicate with Sisters in Celebration? Who will be reading and
responding to my emails?

Sisters in Celebration has four High Priestess Directors in Service to
our Community. These women take turns being in Service in the community, responding to
emails and lessons. The High Priestess begins her Service on Tuesday morning and ends on
Monday evening. There may be a different High Priestess in Service each week.
All official correspondence will be sent via email with sistersincelebration@gmail.com
which is tended to by the High Priestesses in Service.

19. Once I turn in a lesson, how soon will I receive a response? Who will read my
lesson response?

You will be compiling your weekly exercises and submitting the at the end of the moon cycle to sistersincelebration@gmail.com. Only your High Priestess Directors will see your lesson when it is submitted to
sistersincelebration@gmail.com. You will receive feedback from the Directors in a timely manner.
We will encourage you to share any parts or all of your lesson responses with the Priestess Path community to receive further insights, support and wisdom from other students. It is from one another that we also learn and grow.....and should a sister post her
lesson....you are welcome and encouraged to respond to her lesson also.

20. What about sharing my lessons with others in Sisters in Celebration and
being able to read what others are learning? What interaction will I have with
other students?

You will be encouraged to share your lessons in Priestess Path community. If you choose to share your
lesson in the group, other instructors and students will likely give you further responses to
your lesson and in turn offering you experience and insight. This is voluntary and always
greatly valued when a student shares of herself in this manner.
It is by witnessing, honoring and sharing if our journeys that we deepen our spiritual
sisterhood bonds and learn and grow together.
Students enrolled in the Priestss Path will have many opportunities to interact with other
women.

21. Will other students harass me because of my spiritual beliefs?
Certainly not. Such harassment will not be tolerated. So far, we haven't had any problems with
this whatsoever. However, if any harassment does occur, it will be immediately stopped. Our
community is dedicated to having Sisters in Celebration a safe, comfortable environment for
everyone. If you ever feel uncomfortable with a thread of discussion or with a developing
situation, please contact us immediately and we will work through it together for peaceful
resolution. You may reach us at sistersincelebration@gmail.com

22. How can I blend the Priestess Path with my current spiritual practice?
In any way that suits you! The focus of the school is on The Goddess with the premise that she
is harmonious with all of spirituality. If you are a Christian, you may choose a Christian form
of Goddess to honor (Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Sophia, a female saint). Place her on
your altar along with Christ. If you are Jewish, you might choose Lilith or Asherah. If you are
Buddhist, you might choose Quan Yin. Many women find that blending Goddess Spirituality
to whatever part of your current spiritual practice "works" for you right now is a great
experience. If you aren't sure - please feel free to ask and we can offer suggestions to assist you
with ideas on how to blend your studies with your current spiritual practice.

23. What if I disagree with some of the information or views I encounter within
Sisters in Celebration?

While we ask that you open your mind to consider other viewpoints, ultimately it is up to you
to take what you like and leave the rest. This is one of the strengths of Women's Spirituality --
You are Goddess, You are Source. Trust your inner-knowing, and find what's right for you.
We also find that through the experience of disagreement with something, that we find out
more about ourselves and our own beliefs.

24. What if I feel very uncomfortable with an assignment? Will I be required to
complete it?

Again, you will be encouraged to "push the envelope" a bit on your comfort level. But if your
intuition tells you something is definitely wrong for you, feel free to modify the assignment
into something that is more comfortable or to request an alternative assignment.

25. Why only focus on The Goddess? What about God/The God?

Many of our students do honor the Masculine Divine or The God; some feel more comfortable
focusing on Goddess only. There are many more places to learn about male expressions of the
Divine than there are places to learn about female expressions of the Divine. As we honor the
Feminine Divine, we honor the Divine in ourselves, as women and we honor the Feminine
Divine in other women. We empower ourselves spiritually, psychologically, emotionally, and
physically. This is the focus of Sisters in Celebration.

26. Why aren't men allowed to join the school?
In focusing on female empowerment, it is necessary to limit the scope of our community.
Women deserve and need women-only spaces in order to heal and grow. While we certainly
hope that men will explore Goddess studies, we regret that our limited focus here cannot include them in the Priestess srudies.

27. I am reading that this group offers great support; is this a counseling type of
group?

No. The sole purpose of this school is for self empowerment and self growth; it does not
replace any type of counseling or therapy. There is no one acting in the role of a professional counselor or therapist.
