Curriculum
The curriculum
is presented in four levels. Each of the first three levels
includes a final project. To view students final projects, please visit

Level I (four
months) focuses on Goddess studies, sacred space, ritual, and personal
empowerment. The first level essentially serves as a foundation for daily
practice. Students observe the seasons, connect with the moon, and begin
meditation, energy work, and spell crafting. Both novice and experienced
students are required to begin with Level I. In this, and each subsequent
level, students create a final project focused on a particular Goddess.
Level II (four months) deepens the study of meditation and energy work and introduces
the practice of divination, focusing on the Motherpeace Tarot. This level
also contains a strong emphasis on chakra work and self-healing. At Sisters In Celebration we have expanded optional study paths of Prayer and Magick to include a Healing path also.
A note about choosing a Path: We encourage each of our students to choose her own Path, so if one of the ones we have established does not resonate we encourage her to develop her own path, with our support, as we believe that becomes a contribution and deeper experience of the multi-faceted spirituality and a gift to the rest of the community
Level III (five months) strongly emphasizes dream, astral, and shamanic work, and
introduces body-based lunar astrology. In addition, students choose three
elective areas of study: gemstones, herbs, candle magick, dream work,
healing, and Tarot spells. For the last month, students also undergo a practical
internship. Level III students may choose to experience the path of rites and ritual, community ministry, or teaching.
Level IV (two and a half months) emphasizes ministry training and is open to Level III graduates. Our High Priestess training is very much designed with the individual in mind, rather than a one-size fits all training in order to assister her become her truest, best, most beautiful self. Lessons are complimented by the texts that a Level 4 student chooses for herself based upon her calling. Each Level 4 graduate is assisted in acquiring ordination and provided with the "Letter of Good Standing in a Spiritual Community" that some country and states require. We encourage each student to discover and create a ministry that fits her. There are many types of spiritual paths and ministries, and with our support, a woman's ministry becomes a contribution and deeper experience of the multi-faceted spirituality and a gift to the rest of the community and beyond.
Students
must satisfactorily complete all of the assignments in order to receive
course certificates. Levels II & III include some elective course
offerings but most of the course material is required.
Ceremonial
Cords and Completion Certificates are awarded at no extra cost to those
completing each level.
Sisters in Celebration offers four initiation levels.
Level I:
Initiate. Sisters in Celebration* (white cord)
Level II: Adept, Sisters in Celebration* (red cord)
Level III: Priestess, Sisters in Celebration* (black cord)
Level IV
: High Priestess in Sisters in Celebration* (green cord)
