Goddess Greetings!
I dreamt of a sacred
place where women could be experience the Feminine Divine, where women
could connect with one another and in turn, connect to themselves. I dreamt
of deepening connections to the Divine Feminine and bringing Her into
daily life. I dreamt of women, soul sisters, goddess friends lining life's
path, and surrounding every woman with love and life's passion. In this
dream women were nurturing, respecting, strengthening, and celebrating
each other as aspects of the Feminine Divine.
This dream has come true for me at Sisters in Celebration, and I am delighted to introduce myself to you. My
spiritual name is Nessa CrescentMoon. I am an ordained community minister; I officiate life celebrations such as weddings, handfastings, blessing ways, house blessings and such in the local Illinois- Quad Cities area. I received my formal ministry training from Luna Blanca via the White Moon School of the Feminine Divine. This training enables me to pass on The Traditional White Moon teachings to sister-seekers. I also assisted in the creation of Priestess Path curriculum that SIsters in Celebration offers.
I consider the community and the women within it to be my teachers, mentors, friends, sisters. My personal path is Multi-Denominational Goddess Spirituality. My spiritual beliefs are an ongoing evolution of my upbringing, my interaction and heartfelt discussions with spirit-sisters, my studies at the White Moon School of the Feminine Divine, and my personal studies of the world's religions and myths. I honor all spiritual paths and integrate those particular spiritual practices that enhance my own personal path.
I feel that there is no third party between Woman and Goddess. I believe in reclaiming the role of Priestess so that we, as women empower ourselves to begin the process of healing ourselves and bring spiritual balance to the Earth. It is my belief that spiritual healing and empowerment comes from our connection to the Feminine Divine within us. I deeply believe that the Divine Feminine connects women from assorted spiritual backgrounds and that through this connection we can rejoice in and respect our diversity and learn and grow from one another.
Witnessing women come together is a delight for me. Community is an important part of my life and echo's strongly my purposeful intention to revere the Goddess in every woman.
